How fee-sharing works

Why refer to us

Only 1% of civil trial attorneys hold a Certification by the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Under the Rules of Court, R. 1:39-6(d), only a Certified Civil Trial attorney may pay referral fees to referring attorneys upon a successful recovery for the client.

Two ways to work with us

Refer the matter

  • You refer the case, we handle it start to finish.
  • You receive a referral fee on successful recovery.
  • No requirement that you perform ongoing work.
  • Client is notified and consents in writing.

Co-counsel with us

RPC 1.5(E) — JOINT RESPONSIBILITY

  • Stay involved and share the work on your time
  • Fee divided by services performed, or by written joint-responsibility agreement.
  • Keep your client relationship and a seat at the table.
  • Written client consent, both firms assume responsibility.
